
In September 2005, a camera crew from Border TV (our local ITV station) spent a weekend filming a documentary about us called, cunningly, The Borderers. This was a half-hour programme looking at the work of the society, with interviews with some of our members asking them what we did and why we did it.

Almost exactly a year later another crew from Border TV was with us, under the director’s gaze of Valerie Lyon. This time we were being filmed for linking shots and “talking heads expert knowledge” for a new six-part TV series, written and produced by author and broadcaster Alistair Moffat
