Boers

For many years, at Easter, Chris and Chris, of the Heilbron Boer Commando, would turn up at Buittle. Although they both look pukka Afrikaaners, they are both English, though Little Chris speaks Dutch (having worked in the Nehterlands). Their encampment was something to see and the talk they gave on Boer life and tactics in war was not to be missed.
